Who are we

Arete is an initiative which aims to equip children with ICT skills; focusing on the foundational skills namely Microsoft Office Tools and scratch.

What do we do

We also partner with tech hubs, NGOs, communities who have a similar goal as ours.

A brief history of arete

Arete was founded in December 2019 by Maryann Onuoha, Ifihan Olusheye, Abisola Jegede and Mbaoma Chioma M. We’ve had support from many individuals of notable mention are Olumide Ogundare, Timilehin Olumofin, Akinwunmi Aguda and Olamide Aboyeji.

Our team

Our team consists of amazing individuals. From the amazing team , to the bookclub team to the core team. Arete is a made up of a group of individuals who are interested in making impact into the society and helping the future generation to excel at soft skills.
